THE VOICE OVER CAFE EPISODE 22 – ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION HOSTED BY SEAN CALDWELL

    My ears were burning!!
96mbps AAC Mono is extremely good. To my ears it’s almost impossible to pick between that and a Wav file. I’d say 64mbps AAC Mono is the closest audible equivalent to MPEG L2 Mono 128. Opus has shown up in hardware from Comrex now, believe it or not. It’s a good Codec, but it does behave differently than AAC when implemented with WEBRTC on the Chrome platform. I think the issue really is using a Codec for pro-use that relies on Chrome, not so much Opus. Chrome can update at ANY TIME and break IPDTL, SC Now, and the like.
Keep up the good work, guys!
